The 3D Experience Zone combined NVIDIA’s groundbreaking 3D graphics with AMS’s Atomic A2 motion simulators to provide the ultimate immersive gaming experience, enjoyed by over 2000 visitors to the show.
The AMS and NVIDIA collaboration at the Gadget Show Live 2011 in Birmingham, UK saw over 2000 visitors enjoying the ultimate full-motion 3D racing experience on the newly released Atomic A2 model, featuring EA’s Need For Speed SHIFT. Within minutes of the doors opening on first day to the close of the show on the last, the response was overwhelming making NVIDIA’s stand easily the busiest at the event; Special thanks to NVIDIA and the NVIDIA team, who provided first class support to ensure everything went smoothly. Chris Jarram, Creative Director and Co-Founder of AMS, commented “Combining the sensation of motion and intertia with the mind-blowing visuals offered by NVIDIA’s 3DTV Play technology yields a groundbreaking gaming experience like never before. The two technologies work together in harmony to provide an ultra-immersive environment gamers can truely lose themselves in, bluring the line between the virtual world and reality. The AMS Atomic with its highly dynamic movement, small size and low power requirement is the perfect solution to bring this experience to the masses for the very first time.” Martin Day, NVIDIA Marketing Manager said “The AMS Atomic combined with NVIDIA 3DTV Play proved to be an extremely popular stand attraction. The quick setup and fast driver changeover were key to its success at the Gadget Show Live, where visitor throughput is of utmost importance. Our own staff were able to operate the units with minimal instruction and the compact nature of this simulator made it very easy to transport to the show. AMS’s ability to quickly support new game releases gave us the flexibility to choose the most suitable current title for our fastest lap competition, allowing us to provide a cutting-edge immersive gaming experience in amazing stereoscopic 3D that proved a highlight of the show.” Congratulations to Steven Embling, winner of the NVIDIA fastest lap challenge – His prize is an amazing Tegra 3D Gaming tablet courtesy of NVIDIA!
